My mission is to help transform our education system into one that honors different ways of knowing and emphasizes authentic learning through creativity: the development of one’s own creative process.

Through professional development workshops, online courses, and one on one consulting, teachers will learn how to provide students opportunities to develop their own creativity. Teachers will also learn how to develop their own creative process.

I started a nonprofit called, The Center for Community Creativity. Our mission is to support our community (communities) through creativity by providing place-based art projects in which all are encouraged and welcomed to participate. We provide and collaboratively maintain a safe environment to share, express and honor different ways of knowing. Community members will have opportunities to experiment with different mediums and participate in collaborative creative projects that engage members in their own creative process. The more we are engaged in our creative process, the more healthy innovative solutions we create for ourselves, our communities and our world!
